What's the difference between E5 and E3?+
E5 adds Microsoft Teams Phone System (cloud PBX for voice calls), Power BI Pro (business analytics, normally $10/user/month extra), Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 2 (advanced anti-phishing, Safe Links, Safe Attachments), Entra ID Premium P2 (risk-based conditional access), Customer Lockbox, Privileged Access Management, and Information Protection Plan 2. Choose E5 if you need a cloud phone system or enterprise-grade threat protection.
How does Teams Phone work in E5?+
Teams Phone is a cloud PBX system that replaces traditional desk phones. Users can make and receive calls through the Teams app on any device. You will need a calling plan or Direct Routing for PSTN connectivity (outbound/inbound calls to regular phone numbers). We help you configure the full setup.
Is Power BI Pro really included?+
Yes. Power BI Pro (normally $10/user/month as a standalone) is included in E5 at no extra charge. Create interactive dashboards, share reports across your organization, and connect to hundreds of data sources.
Is E5 worth upgrading from E3?+
