Every Microsoft 365 admin portal URL you need — in one page. Whether you manage Exchange, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, or Power Platform, stop Googling for admin URLs and bookmark this page instead.

Bookmark this page — IT admins tell us they visit it several times a week. Press Ctrl+D (Windows) or Cmd+D (Mac) to save it now.

We organize all Microsoft 365 admin portal URLs into 8 categories below. Each URL has a one-click Copy button so you can paste it straight into your browser.

1. Core Admin Portals

These are the primary admin centers you will use daily to manage users, licenses, billing, and tenant-wide settings across your Microsoft 365 environment.

Microsoft Purview (Compliance)https://compliance.microsoft.com

Tip: Check your Secure Score weekly. Microsoft regularly adds new recommended actions — even a 5-point improvement can close real attack vectors. Need help hardening your tenant? Our IT services team can run a full security audit.

3. Communication & Collaboration

These portals manage your organization's email, file sharing, team collaboration, and employee engagement tools.

Pro Tips for IT Admins

1. Create a Browser Bookmark Folder

Create a folder called "M365 Admin" in your browser bookmarks bar. Add the portals you use daily — most admins need the M365 Admin Center, Exchange, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender at a minimum.

2. Use Browser Profiles

If you manage multiple tenants, use separate browser profiles (Edge or Chrome) for each tenant. This prevents session conflicts and accidental changes in the wrong tenant.

3. Pin Service Health

Before troubleshooting any user-reported issue, check Service Health first. If Microsoft is already aware of an outage, you save hours of unnecessary investigation.

4. Check Message Center Weekly

Microsoft announces feature changes, deprecations, and new admin actions in the Message Center. Set a weekly calendar reminder to review it — many admins miss critical deadlines because they never check.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a specific license to access these admin portals?

You need an admin role assigned in your Microsoft 365 tenant to access most portals. The Global Administrator role grants access to everything. For least-privilege access, assign specific admin roles — for example, Exchange Administrator for the Exchange Admin Center, or Security Administrator for the Defender portal. See our Microsoft 365 licensing guide for details on which plans include which admin capabilities.

Why do some URLs redirect me to a different portal?

Microsoft has been consolidating admin experiences. For example, the Azure AD portal now redirects to Entra ID (entra.microsoft.com), and the old Security & Compliance Center redirects to separate Defender and Purview portals. The URLs on this page reflect the current (2026) portal locations.

Can I access these portals from a mobile device?

Yes. Most portals work in mobile browsers, though the experience is optimized for desktop. Microsoft also offers the Microsoft 365 Admin mobile app (iOS and Android) for common tasks like password resets, service health monitoring, and user management.

What if I get "You don't have access" when opening a portal?

This means your account lacks the required admin role. Ask your Global Administrator to assign the appropriate role in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center under Users → Active Users → [Your Account] → Manage Roles.

Are these URLs the same for GCC, GCC High, and DoD tenants?

No. Government cloud tenants use different URLs. For example, the GCC High admin center is at https://portal.office365.us instead of https://admin.microsoft.com. Contact your Microsoft account team or reach out to us for government-specific portal URLs.

How often does Microsoft change these portal URLs?

Rarely for the main portals. Microsoft typically maintains backward compatibility by redirecting old URLs to new ones. We update this page whenever Microsoft introduces new portals or changes existing URLs.
