Per-user service fee drives the largest line item. 25 users vs 250 users is the same playbook, but engineer-hours scale with wave count.
Exchange on-prem, Google Workspace, GoDaddy, IMAP / cPanel, and M365 tenant-to-tenant each need different tooling and validation. Tenant-to-tenant needs BYOL tooling.
Standard quote assumes up to 50GB/mailbox and 100GB/OneDrive. Larger archives use delta sync so the cutover window stays tight — but discovery takes longer.
Adding file data moves the per-user rate from $15 to $25 and extends the wave length. Most Google Workspace migrations include Drive.
Flat $300/site for document libraries and basic permissions. Complex apps, workflows, or custom columns need a custom SOW.
Teams is $15/user on tenant-to-tenant (private chats cannot migrate). Exchange public folders are $500/hierarchy. Both add validation cycles.
Add $25/user for post-cutover workstation setup, Outlook profile reset, mobile device enrolment, and end-user training.
